The game started off fairly evenly balanced, with neither team able to make ground on the other for the first 10 minutes of play.

The deadlock was broken by an excellent attack from Josh, Taylor and Drew who got the first goal in the game. 1-0 to Highbury.

Mere tried to equalize but the shot was easily deflected by Dylan.

Mere equalised just before half time when a corner unfortunately bounced in off a highbury head. 1-1 at half time.

The second half saw some great play from Highbury, a superb interception by Taylor and some exceptional saves by Dylan, but Mere still managed to get 2 more goals without conceeding any to the Highbury strikers.

Final score 3-1 to Mere.
