Under 10B 0, Melksham Robins 3

A glorious saturday morning at the home ground looked ripe for another win for Highbury.

Melksham started the game with an early attack, which Dylan deflected easily. Taylor was knocked over in a tough tackle which ended up in Chandler replacing him briefly.

Highburys attack, saw Drew set up Chandler for a shot, but it was a little too high and hit the bar.

Melkshams response was a strong attack and a powerful shot which was too high for Dylan to get too. 1-0.

Melksham kept the pressure on for the entire game with a number of attacks

Callum had a shot but it went wide.

A Melksham corner was deflected again by Dylan but Melksham got the rebound past our defence making the score 2-0.

Highbury fought back for the rest of the first half but just couldn't get to the net.

In the second half the pressure was back on Highburys goal. Callum, Taylor and Kieran fought hard, and Dylan managed a few good saves and deflections, but eventually a further Melksham shot got through, making it 3-0.

Josh, Aiden and Drew all fought hard, but just couldn't break through to Melkshams goal.

Final score 3-0 to Melksham Robins.
