Trowbridge Town Youth(C) 1, Under 10 B 2

Following their strong start to the season, Highbury Under 10 B's had a lot to play for. The slightly over sized pitch at Trowbridge wasn't going to hold them back.

Straight away, Highbury went on the attack with the first goal attempt from Drew at 6 minutes in. Trowbridge fought back but their shot went wide, then Aiden, Taylor and Drew fought back.

The game carried on like this, until an unfortunate free kick allowed Trowbridge to score the first goal of the game.

Highbury attacked hard for the rest of the first half with Josh, Taylor and Aiden pushing down the pitch and Kieran and Callum stopping Trowbridge from making it into Highburys territory. A tap from Drew following a blistering corner kick by Josh provided the equaliser before half time.

Trowbridge started the second half powerfully with an attack that was only stopped thanks to a superb save by Dylan. Highbury then went on the offensive again and Drew provided the Second Warminster goal after breaking through the Trowbridge defences with Chandler.

Trowbridge pushed back, testing the defence, but Megan and Callum stopped most attempts at goal, and those that did get through were stopped very capably by Dylan.

Highbury kept the pressure on, but Trowbridge managed to save a free kick from Josh and defend against further attacks from Chandler, Drew and Megan.

With no further goals, the game ended 2-1 to Highbury.

Another superb result from a team that looks like it is going to have a very successful year!

Aiden, Callum, Chandler, Drew, Dylan, Josh, Kieran, Megan and Taylor.
